CIRD Research Team Participates in Review Meeting for the “Asian Economic Outlook and Integration Progress Annual Report 2025”

Entrusted by the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Secretariat, the CIRD research team participated in researching and drafting the BFA’s flagship report, “Asian Economic Outlook and Integration Progress Annual Report 2025”. On February 25, the CIRD research team attended the report's review meeting. The attending experts provided relevant suggestions and feedback on the report, including Cao Yuanzheng, Former Chief Economist of Bank of China; Yao Wang, Vice Chairman of the Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA); Jin Zhongxia, Director of the Treasury and Portfolio Management Division of the New Development Bank; Sang Baichuan, Dean of the Institute of International Economy of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE); and Shen Minghui, Deputy Director of the National Institute of International Strategy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), among others.

BFA Secretary General Zhang Jun attended the review meeting and made several recommendations for further refining the flagship report. The meeting was chaired by Cao Li, Vice President of the BFA Academy. The meeting was also participated by Yang Rui, Executive President of CIRD and President of RCEP Research Institute; Kuang Xianming, Vice President of CIRD and Vice President of RCEP Research Institute; and Jin Ye, Wang Yuehong, Assistant Researcher of RCEP Research Institute, CIRD.

The “Asian Economic Outlook and Integration Progress Annual Report 2025” is jointly written by research teams from the BFA Academy, the CASS, the UIBE, and the CIRD.
