Yi Gang, President of the CSFB, Visits CIRD

On the afternoon of March 31, Yi Gang, Deputy Director of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; President of the China Society for Finance and Banking; Former Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBC), visited the China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD). Professor Chi Fulin, President of CIRD, extended a warm welcome to Yi Gang and his delegation, and accompanied them on a tour of the CIRD History Museum and Historical Archive Exhibition on Reform and Opening-Up.

During discussion session, the two sides exchanged views on topics including China’s high-level opening-up, financial liberalization, and the development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

Participants in the meeting included Lu Weifeng, Party Secretary and President of Hainan Branch of the PBC; Yang Rui, Executive President of CIRD; Kuang Xianming, Vice President of CIRD; Guo Da, Vice President of Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies; Hui Liang, Deputy Director of President’s Office, CIRD; Liu Tieqi, Secretary to President, CIRD; and Wang Yuehong, Assistant Researcher of RCEP Research Institute, CIRD.
