Prof. Chi Fulin Held Discussion with Datuk Prof. Dr. Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Chairman of ISIS Malaysia
On August 25, 2025, during the visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Professor Chi Fulin, President of China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), led a delegation to Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia for a roundtable discussion. Datuk Prof. Dr. Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Chairman of ISIS Malaysia, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including China–ASEAN free trade, RCEP cooperation, and institutional collaboration.
Participants from ISIS Malaysia included Shahriman Lockman, Director of Special Projects; Arividya Arimuthu, Senior Fellow; Angeline Tan, Analyst of Foreign Policy and Security Studies; and Anis Rifhan Rosli, Researcher. Participants from CIRD included Yang Rui, Executive President of CIRD and President of RCEP Research Institute; Kuang Xianming, Vice President of CIRD and Vice President of RCEP Research Institute; Guo Da, Executive President of Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies (HIFTPS); Li Chun, Director of CIRD–GRANDALL Center of FTP Law Studies; and Wang Yuehong, Assistant Researcher of RCEP Research Institute, CIRD.
